About Us

The GKPrice Foundation, founded by Memphis couple Gregory and Kimberly Price.  Their focus is centered around two Pillars - eradicating homelessness, and empowering our youth through education. 

• The Prices understand the challenges faced by those experiencing homelessness. Since 2017, they've consistently provided resources and support. This includes initiatives like:

• A 2017 challenge that supplied 100 food boxes to the Memphis Union Shelter, offering a welcome change from their usual meal

• Donating over 100 care kits to Manna House in 2020 and 2022, filled with essential items like toiletries.

• Ongoing volunteer work at Manna House, providing haircuts, coffee, clothing, and shoes.
    

The Prices believe in nurturing the potential of Memphis's future leaders. They've launched several initiatives to support education and create a positive environment for children:

• A 2022 school supply drive to assist teachers and students in preparing for the new year.

• The inaugural Zellie Fain Whitehaven Easter Egg Hunt in 2023, a fun-filled event with over 1,000 eggs, food, activities, and entertainment.

• The 2024 Whitehaven Cigar and Whiskey Festival, which raised $1,500 for the Memphis Urban League Young Professionals.

The Prices are excited about Project 18. This initiative aims to help college-bound students in Shelby County achieve a minimum ACT score of 18. With the current average score at 16.4, Project 18 seeks to bridge that gap and expand college opportunities for these students. To achieve this, they need volunteer teachers, study materials, breakfast for participants, and a dedicated study space. Join the Movement: While the Prices have funded most past initiatives with some help from friends and family, Project 18 requires broader support.
